We are currently seeking volunteers for a number of roles on our Board and Board Oversight Committee. These roles are challenging and will provide Corporate Governance Skills and experience running a large member-based organisation.

Volunteers can participate in our education programme where external courses will be funded by the credit union which will benefit our volunteers and the credit union. Skills gained, additional education and experience are all fully transferable to outside jobs and will help to improve your CV.

Volunteers must be members of Lucan District Credit Union. The expected monthly time commitment is a maximum of 6 hours which does not include attendance at external courses. Volunteers would be required to read documents in advance of the monthly Board meeting, attend the meeting, attend induction and mandatory annual training and the Annual General Meeting. Some additional hours may needed from time to time if you volunteer to serve on a Board committee.
