Going to College?

Now that you have accepted your place it is time to consider the best option for meeting the costs of the coming year. Lucan District Credit Union has loans available for students and parents alike to help spread the cost over the year. Our standard variable loan interest rate is 9.49 percent (APR 9.91 percent). This can be repaid weekly, fortnightly or monthly. The interest is calculated only on the reducing loan balance.

We would recommend that, if possible, student loans are paid off over one year so that you can take a loan again next year.
